Purpose of Communication Plan
Tupper, Deszca & Cynthia (2012) state that communication plans are important for keeping rumors at bay, getting people to buy-in to the process, and to preserve (program) fidelity (p.319). Communication Plan for the Chemistry Camp Workshop will be used to share information, create alignment throughout the program planning process, and to ensure that all stakeholders, staff, and participants will understand the processes involved in the program and how it will impact each individually and as a group. In addition, the communication plan gives staff members and stakeholders the opportunity to have a voice which generates a greater sense of responsibility and ownership.
